Superfood un-smoothie

98% of your day's requirement of Vitamin A,  240% of Vitamin C... not bad for a mid-morning snack eh?
Here's an unexpected combination of fruit and vegetables that makes an incredibly refreshing mid-morning snack. A sprinkling of chia seeds adds nutrition oomph, as does the absence of salt, sugar and oil.

I fed these ingredients into Nutrition Data, and found that a bowl of this un-smoothie has enough goodies to make snacking a virtue!


(for one - why would you want to share something this yummy?)

140 g cantaloupe, cubed
50 g yellow peppers
1 g fresh dill
1 tsp black chia seeds


Whizz the first three ingredients until they're as smooth or chunky as you'd like them to be.

Sprinkle chia seeds in and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let the seeds swell.


Linger on the nutrition facts and enjoy the brand new halo around your head.
