I got home and started baking. At 1145 on Saturday night, I was still baking. Sunday was the same.
And suddenly, the home was swamped in bread!
There were crisp crusted baguettes (middle), a hearty baton (top) and dozens of mildly flavoured rolls that were begging for a pat of butter.
